Safari Sports was created to provide several solutions:

 
1. Safari Sports provides affordable sports clinics and fundamental games to kids interested in learning more about a specific sport that we offer. 

2. We don't just provide an environment to play sports. We provide an environment full of encouragement, compassion and fun.  We provide a platform for kids to truly learn and develop. Our Clinic Leagues is focused on developing athletes and providing skills and fundamental training. Our fundamental games are created as an opportunity for kids to use and apply the training and fundamentals learned in game situations.   

3. The icing on the cake is the services we provide is Year-Round sports and practice, training & fundamental league games are on the same day. 

4. We provide a platform for kids to focus on learning and developing and for parents to support their kids while they develop and grow.  The culture of our coaching staff and parents of players is to support each player strengths and weaknesses. Safari Sports does not tolerate parents or coaches speaking negatively toward players, parents or coaches. Our goal is to support and encourage all kids and families to be the best they can be. 

5. We are creating an environment where kids & families are having fun, memories are created, and the love of Christ is being spread to the world.

​Does All Kids Play? We ensure all kids play (no matter their current skill level). Therefore, all kids have the opportunity to enhance their skills, grow & develop through gameplay.

 How does Safari Sports provide Low & Affordable Prices? 
Our Jerseys are sponsored by Safari Ice Cream. Players will need to provide their own shorts & undershirt. Shorts can be any solid color (preferably black).

Any Additional Cost outside of registration?
Jerseys are only $25 each for Basketball & Football, Poms & Safari Shirts are also $25 each.

 When is Clinic League Practices & Games ?
Practice and games are on the same day. 

How long is Clinic League practices and Clinic Fundamental Games?
1 Hour. Practice/Training is normally 30 - 40 minutes & Fundamental Games are normally 30 minutes. 


How do you all Communicate throughout the season?
We communicate through text and email throughout the registration process. Please download Facebook/create an account if you don't have one. The majority of our Communication throughout the season will be hosted through our Parent Group Facebook page. Once teams have been assigned, we will create individual/assigned team Facebook groups for each team & parents to communicate throughout the remainder of the season. 


When does the schedule & assigned teams get released?
Schedules are released the week of the league. 

Can I volunteer as a Coach?
Yes: Please select the option to coach under player registration. Once registration is completed, Safari Sports will follow up with for additional information. 

My kid is developmental, can he/she play? 
Yes. Our league is for developmental & advanced players.

What will my kids gain from Safari Sports Leagues? 
Fundamentals through drills, increase in awareness & IQ through Game Play, Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Networking opportunities with other players & coaches and an environment filled with fun and learning. 
 
Is Safari Leagues COED? 
Yes, Our Leagues are Coed. 
 
How do you all match Advanced Players vs Developmental Players
We will match kids based on skill set as much as possible and will also try to match girls with girls / boys with boys as much as possible too. However, this all depends on attendance, subs and evenly matching skills outside of gender. Our goal is to make the playing field as even as possible. 

How does the 1st Week of Clinic League Games (in Safari League) normally go?
The 1st week is a fundamental camp which allows the kids and coaches to work through fundamentals, rules and gameplay, etc. This allows our players to decrease any nervousness and to increase their confidence going into the season.

Do you offer Refunds?
No Refunds. If your kid is unable to participate in their registered Sports League; You will be credited a registration for an upcoming Safari Sports League of your choice.
